Kanye Drops Knowledge...
Kanye West spoke his mind last night during the live, or "several second delayed" broadcast of a Hurricane Relief Concert on NBC. Some highlights:
"George Bush doesn't care about black people."
"They’re saying black families are looting and white families are just looking for food…they’re giving the (Army) permission to shoot us"
This page links to the video (although I couldn't get it to play on my Mac). It was funny, shocking, awkward yet powerful at the same time. Kanye was just speaking from his heart, not off some silly teleprompter.
Kayne's comments were censored out of the west coast feed. 'Cause, you know, he went off script.
What do you want to bet that if he went off script with glowing comments about Bush that the comments would've stayed in the broadcast?
Dissenting opinions don't exist. Celebrities are welcome to attend and support the cause, just so long as they don't say what they're really feeling.

Even my hubby, the most loyal Bush supporter I have ever met, is admitting that Dubya is totally off the mark with dealing with our own domestic disaster. I heard the prez saying more ridiculous stuff, something about his rich white friends having to rebuild, boo hoo hoo ... he and his master puppeteers had perceived no reason to care about the poor in this country, and now, even corporate America is like, "Dude, where's your heart?"
